Job Scope
~Content Strategy Development: Craft and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand's goals and audience interests across Twitter, Instagram, and Discord. This includes planning, creating, and scheduling content that promotes engagement, increases followers, and drives game adoption.
~Community Engagement and Growth: Actively engage with our community by initiating discussions, responding to queries, and moderating conversations to maintain a positive environment. Grow the community by leveraging best practices in community management, identifying and targeting new audience segments, and fostering an inclusive space that reflects our brand values.
~Event and Campaign Coordination: Plan and execute online events, streams, and promotional campaigns, including giveaways and collaborations with eSports KOLs/streamers. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution and integration of these activities into our broader marketing strategy.
~Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, and campaign ROI. Utilize insights to refine strategies, improve content, and make informed decisions on future campaigns.
~Budget Management: Oversee the social media marketing budget, allocating resources efficiently to maximize campaign effectiveness and achieve the best possible ROI. Ensure all spending is tracked and reported accurately.
~Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a remote team of moderators and community representatives. Provide clear direction, feedback, and training to ensure team members are aligned with brand goals and equipped to engage with the community effectively. ~Policy and Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media activities comply with relevant laws, platform policies, and brand guidelines. Maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels, reinforcing our identity and values.
~Crisis Management: Monitor social media channels for potential crises or negative feedback and respond promptly and diplomatically. Develop and implement strategies to manage and mitigate such situations, protecting the brand's reputation.
~Influencer Collaboration: Identify and engage with influencers, eSports KOLs, and streamers who align with our brand. Manage partnerships to create authentic content that resonates with both our existing community and potential new audiences.
~Cross-Platform Integration: Ensure a cohesive social media strategy that integrates with other marketing efforts, including email marketing, SEO, and content marketing, to create a unified brand experience.
~Language and Cultural Sensitivity: Tailor content and community management approaches to respect and embrace the cultural nuances of our primary markets. Communicate effectively in Tagalog and Mandarin, catering to our audience's preferences and sensitivities.
Job Requirements: ?~Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably within the gaming industry.
~Strong leadership skills with experience managing remote teams and coordinating with external partners.
~Excellent communication skills in Tagalog and Mandarin, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse community.
~Deep understanding of social media metrics, with the ability to analyze campaign performance and align strategies with overall business goals.
~Strategic mindset, with experience in budget management and campaign optimization.
~Passion for gaming and a strong alignment with our brand's mission and values.
